I want people to see my work as distinct, and almost nonconformist, art. I find inspiration from slow-editing style arthouse films. I also love minimal dialogue in films. Both styles combined create a type of simplicity, even mundanity, but one that makes the film somehow so compelling. What the film lacks in visual dynamism is made up through its potency in intention. Every frame lingering on a shot, or even that split second glance, are present in the film to make a point.

Film is my platform for emotional vulnerability and my tool to move people to empathy. I want to reveal the significance of simple moments and show the universality of emotions. I aim to achieve this in the form of very intimate, poetic films. Not much is said, but so much is said at same time. I want to bring to light the nuances of our daily lives that mean so much to us, even if we may not realize it ourselves.
